Here we tried to use playdough to investigate the cross sections of 3D shapes. Unfortunately all of our playdough was too sticky so we just had to imagine what the shapes would look like instead!

Lava Lamps

Today we made homemade lava lamps by mxing water, oil, food colouring and effervescent tablets. We are noticing that oil doesn't like to mix with water. I wonder if anything would help to mix them better?

Brenna brought her kittens to school today. They were so cute! We think pets teach kids to be responsible and caring.
